Use weekly or as needed after your Naissant toning shampoo: apply to damp hair, leave on for 1–5 minutes depending on hair porosity and desired intensity, then rinse thoroughly. On very porous or level 9–10 blondes, always perform a strand test and adjust timing. The result: icy cool blonde that looks cleaner, brighter, and more luminous.

To find out the appropriate exposure time for your shade, perform the strand test.

a. If you wash your hair every day, use the toning line up to three times a week.
b. If you wash your hair every other day, use the toning line up to twice a week.
c. If you wash your hair two or three times a week, use the toning line once a week.
d. If you wash your hair once a week, use the toning line every 15 days.
